Donald G. Roberts, 75, of Albany took the Lord’s hand on Saturday and went home. He was born in Colcord, Oklahoma to Herman and Hattie (Sisson) Roberts.

Donald started working at the age of 15 in the apple orchards, and later in the frozen food industry. He finished his career as a service station attendant.

Like two of his brothers and his sister, Donald was musical and learned to play the drums and enjoyed listening to country western music. Bob Wills was one of his favorite musicians.

Donald is survived by: his sister, Evelyn Dalton of Sweet Home; daughters, Angela Cumpston of Vancouver, Washington and Melinda Rouse of Pasco Washington; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Howard, Clinton, Cotton, and Roy.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Final burial will follow at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home, Oregon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
