Dallis Ann Morris
April 21, 1943 – November 24, 2023

Dallis Ann Morris, 80, of Sweet Home passed away November 24, 2023. She was born in Eugene to William Jennings and Anne Pauline (Elliason) Orr. Her family moved to Cascadia, when she was three, when her father was transferred to the Cascadia Ranger Station. She married Ervle Morris, August 8, 1964 in Cascadia. They lived there and raised their family there in Cascadia.

In her adult life she work part time at Cascadia Post Office and Sweet Home Library. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She taught cooking and sewing as a 4-H leader. She sewed many of her own clothes as well as many of her children’s.

Dallis is survived by her children, Bill Morris of Cascadia, Wendy Morris of Tualatin, Wynn Morris of Sweet Home; two grandchildren, Ronald Morris and Brooklin Morris of Billings, Montana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervle in 1999 and her brother, William Orr in 2016.

Viewing will be 1 pm Monday December 4th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral will follow at 2 pm. Private burial will take place later at Lewis Cemetery. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
