Clyde R. Eli, 65, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Friday, January 3, 2014. He was born in Denver, Colorado to Clyde R. Sr., and Edith (Kibel) Eli.

He lived in Goodland, KS, Burlington and Montrose, CO, and eventually moved to Sweet Home in 1996. He worked many jobs, such as farming, tire service, and cooking, but his main job was as a long haul truck driver.

Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt track racing, and camping.

He is survived by: his wife, Adruien Eli; sons, Jimmy, and Rusty; daughter, Adruien II; brother, Harlan Eli; 20 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Clyde was preceded in death by: his parents; his brothers Lloyd, Raymond, and Harold; and his sister Ann.
