Christl Alheit, 89, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Monday, July 29, 2013. She was born in Pirmasens, formerly East Germany, to Ernst and Therese Morgenbesser.

She married Fredrick Alheit December 16, 1959 in Rochester, New York. They also lived in Craig, Colorado before moving to Sweet Home.

Christl is survived by: her neighbors and friends, David Landis and Anita Azarenko, who will miss her kind words and unconditional love and friendship. She was preceded in death by Fred Alheit, her devoted husband who passed away January 21, 1992 at the age of 98.

Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
