Carolyn D. Coelho, 79, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013. Carolyn was born in Pampa, Texas to Luther and Pauline (Harsh) Head.

From Texas, Carolyn’s family moved to Cypress, California. She lived there until moving to Sweet Home in 2001.

Carolyn is the mother of six boys. She was a Century 21 Realtor and owned and operated a Christmas tree farm: Manuel’s Top Quality Christmas Trees.

She was a quilter and enjoyed crafting of all kinds, including Swedish weaving. She loved cooking and collecting recipes.

She loved spending time with her family and sharing good cooked food. They were all avid fishermen and had a lot of “fish stories” to share.

Carolyn is survived by: her husband, Manuel of Sweet Home; her sons, John of Springfield, Manuel Jr. of Sweet Home, Danny of Chino Hills, CA, Frank of Riverside, CA, David of Lakewood, CA, and Stephen of Menifee, CA; sisters, Ellen Pepperdine of Yreka, CA, Judy Schmidt of Sweet Home, and Sandy Launder of Sweet Home; brother, James Marburger; 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn.

A memorial service is planned for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8, at Riverside Christian Church on Green River Drive in Sweet Home. Memorial contributions can be made in Carolyn’s name to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.
