Bonnie Lee Badgley, 62, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. She was born in Minot, North Dakota to Alfred M.,Sr., and Esther Catherine (Geyer) Might.

Bonnie lived in many places during her childhood due to her father’s construction trade, including Tacoma, Spokane, Soap Lake, and Seattle, Washington and Roswell, New Mexico. Eventually Bonnie settled in Bellingham, Washington where she married in 1966.

Bonnie and her husband moved to Seattle area before moving to Mt. Vernon, Washington in 1968. She moved to Snohomish, Washington in 1975, and then on to Sweet Home in 1988 where she resided until her death.

Bonnie was the owner and “The Real Boss” of Midway Grocery in Sweet Home. She was also a bar tender for the VFW and Elks. She worked at a cannery earlier in life.

She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, quilting, rock collecting, garage selling, and fishing with her husband.

Bonnie is survived by: her husband, Stanley W. Badgley, Sr.; son, Stanley W. Badgley, Jr.; daughter, Amanda R. Williamson; sisters, Barbara Burtis and Patricia Roth; two granddaughters; and four grandsons.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Alfred M. Might, Sr., in 1973; mother, Esther C. Geyer in 1985; brother, Alfred M. Might, Jr., in 2003; sister, Shirley May Kennard in 1976; and two granddaughters in 1985.
