Bobby Joe Cross Sr., 79, of Lebanon passed away October 28, 2023. He was born October 29,1943 in Safford, Arizona to Lorene Daisy (Nix) Floyd Cross.

Bobby served in the Army from November 1961 to November 1964. He moved to Corvallis from Spokane, Washington in 1984 and has lived in the area ever since. In 1965, Bobby started working as a machinist and retired from Evanite in Corvallis in September 2010. He loved to build model airplanes, put together jigsaw puzzles, do Sudoku and go camping and fishing.

Bobby is survived by his wife Mary Lou Cross; children: Denise Valderrma and son-in-law Larry Valderrma, Bobby Cross Jr. and son-in-law Cary Lance Horton, Richard Cross and daughter-in-law Sammi Cross; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Billy Settle and sister Betty McClure.

Viewing will be 10 am Friday November 10th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Graveside service with military honors will be 1 pm at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
