Andrew “Andy” Starr, 29, of Sisters, Oregon passed away Friday, February 21, 2014. He was born in Hermiston to Dennis and Darlene (Lepinski) Starr.

Andy grew up in Spray, Oregon. He moved to Bend in 2008 for work and then to Sisters in 2013 when he married his wife, Trinity.

He and Trinity attended Bend First Missionary Baptist. He worked at Nosler in Bend on the production floor for five years. Before that he did several different things, including two summers spent working at a fishing lodge in Alaska.

Andy was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Andy enjoyed everything that had to do with the woods and rivers. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking and sitting on a cliff or rock watching animals through his binoculars.

He is survived by: his wife Trinity Wells Starr and their unborn baby of Sweet Home; parents Denny and Darlene Starr of Spray; brothers Ryan, Aaron and Jason Starr all of Spray; grandmother Diane Starr of Portland; and Grandpa and Grandma Lepinski of Wasco.

Andy was preceded in death by his beloved grandpa, Charles Starr.

Viewing will be 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2014 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Sweet Home Mennonite Church. Private family burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.
