Alice Jeanette Jones Steinheimer, 82, of Lacey, Washington (formerly of Crawfordsville) passed away Saturday. She was born in Anna, Illinois to Albert James and Dorothy Belle (Cavitt) Doty.

She lived in Illinois, Oregon, Arizona, and Washington. She worked at Sunset Care in Albany, then in a hospital in Bull Head City, Arizona, and, finally, she worked In home health care in Oregon.

Alice loved crochet, fishing, Karaoke, and singing. She enjoyed bowling during her youth.

She is survived by: children, Linda Kirk (James) of Indian Valley, Idaho, Cathy Van Epps (Roy) of Lebanon, John Jones (Shellee) of Chehalis, Washington, Sandra Banker (Tim) of Brownsville, Donna Pitts of Tangent, Brenda Carvo of Brownsville, Robert Jones (Carla) of Illinois, James Jones (Jamie) of Shelton, Washington; step-children, Ruthie Simpson, Jerry Jones, Jeanie Valasquez, Richard Jones, and Merle Wilson, all of California; siblings, Sue Killen, Jerri Walsh, and David Houser, all of Illinois; 17 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.

Alice was preceded in death by: her husbands, John Jones and Erwin Steinheimer; grandchildren, Cindy Blacketer and Janelle Hoag; sisters, Carol O’Brien, Shirley Anderson, and Margie Mark.

Viewing will be from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at Union Crawfordsville Cemetery.
